Our story
Built by engineers who were tired of watching good ideas die in committee
SoftCity was founded in 2016 by three engineers who had spent the previous decade inside large consultancies, watching sensible projects get slower and more expensive the further they travelled from the people doing the work.
The bet was simple: keep the team small enough that the person who scopes a project is the person who builds it, and refuse the pyramid staffing model that lets an agency sell senior people and deliver juniors.
Nine years later we are around fifty people across four countries, and that constraint has held. Average tenure is over four years, which in this industry is the statistic we are proudest of — it is why a client who came back to us in 2024 got the same lead engineer they had in 2019.
We work across Laravel, React, Flutter and Python, on ERP, CRM, SaaS platforms and AI systems. But the technology is the easy part. The reason clients stay is that we tell them early when something is not going to work.

Ship, then improve
Working software in front of real users beats a perfect plan. We release every two weeks from week two, and let evidence settle the arguments.
Own the outcome
We are not finished when the code merges. We are finished when the thing you hired us for is measurably happening in production.

If a deadline is unrealistic or a feature is a bad idea, you will hear it in week one — not in the retrospective.
